I have seen several variants of the Rubik's cube such as a Rubik's pyramid and a Rubik's disc. I once watched someone use group theory (possibly permutation groups) to solve the puzzle.
Can anyone illustrate how to use group theory for this purpose?
There are so many friends talking about it, maybe you sholud take a look at it.
